Iska Sampson

Iska is a violinist and violist trained in Baroque, classical, jazz, folk and pop/rock. She is a member of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra Viola section and the Canberra Bach Ensemble. While living in Brisbane she worked with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and the Camerata of St John (now known as Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra). Recently she performed at Bachfest 2024 in Leipzig, Germany with the Canberra Bach Ensemble. Iska brings with her many years of ensemble teaching experience and has tutored to ‘rave-reviews’ from her inspired ensemble groups in the ANU Community Music Centre.
